Children are important to us because they are important to God!
During our Sunday services we offer loving, quality nursery care for infants and toddlers through two years of age in our bright and colorful nursery. And, at our 10:30 a.m. service, for children age three through grade six, ourKidsBreak! ministry provides an opportunity for kids to learn about God at their own level.
Our Nursery Care and KidsBreak! programs offer to children:
- a place where children can form friendships with other children
- a grace-filled environment which communicates the love and acceptance of God
- an exciting, fun-filled time that makes church an enjoyable and memorable experience
During both our Sunday morning services, infants and toddlers through age two are cared for in a safe, nurturing, fun-filled environment that affords parents the confidence to enjoy the worship service.
Your children will love the bright, colorful nursery. And our staff of warm, loving workers offer loving care which will make your child’s experience an enjoyable one.
Your kids will love KidsBreak! The kids have such a great time that it keeps families coming back week after week.
During the pastor’s message, KidsBreak! provides an opportunity for children age three through grade six to learn about God at their own level. Our gifted and creative teaching staff helps to make KidsBreak! a pleasurable and educational experience for children.
KidsBreak! is available during the 10:30 service.
During our 10:30 service, KidsBreak! classes are located downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. Grade Kindergarten to grade six are dismissed to their classes just before the pastor’s message and taken to their classes by their teachers.
The 10:30 a.m. KidsBreak! classes are as follows:
- Pre-K: Three and four year olds ~ Meet in the green room, off of the Fellowship Hall. This class starts at the beginning of the 10:30 am service.
- Kindergarten, Grades 1 and 2 ~ Meet in the red room, off of the Fellowship Hall
- Grades 3 and 4 ~ Meet in Meeting room A
- Grades 5 and 6 ~ Meet in the Youth Room
The Middle Ground
Seventh and Eighth grade students have enormous pressure from their culture to conform to the norms of the world. They are not only in Middle School, but are caught in the middle between two worlds: childhood and adulthood, not really belonging to either group. It is a time when the teaching of God’s word in way that is compelling and relevant is essential.
Classes for grades seven and eight meet in the MCC Conference Room during the pastor’s message at the 10:30 service. The classes are called Middle Ground.
