Updated Covid-19 Mask Policy

We're Open

This Sunday at 10:00 am

We cannot wait to see you again at Montclair Community Church.

We know that meeting in person is an essential part of our Christian faith (Hebrews 12:24-25). We are and will continue to take precautions, suggested by the CDC and NJ, to ensure we have a safe environment for all. You can read more about what to expect, our safety protocol, and other information below.

We are looking forward to seeing you soon!

What time will service begin?

We are hosting one service at 10:00 am for both in-person and livestream. Our livestream can be found on our YouTube channel.

What about childrens ministries and kids break?

We are now offering a modified kids break program. Right now we have a program for Kindergarten to Fifth Grade. After worship we will dismiss our kids so they can go to the fellowship hall. Where they will be socially distanced, wear a mask, and learn an age appropraite Bible lesson.

What about fellowship?

We are having fellowship after every church service. We will be offering coffee and bagels during this time. For this time we will be following all guidlines for indoor dinning (masks required when not eating, socially distancing, and 50% capacity).

Are bathrooms available?

Yes! We will offer access to our indoor bathrooms during the service and fellowship time.

What to Expect

Safety Protocol

Limited seating capacity

We are following New Jersey's guidelines for Churches. Which is a limit of 150 people or 50% of the rooms capacity. Following this guideline we will have 150 people in our main sanctuary along with an overflow room with space for 50 more. This allows us to follow social distancing protocols in both of our rooms.

Mask policy

Starting on April 25 we will be offering two options for services at 10:00am. A mask service and a restaurant style service. One week the masked service will be in the main sanctuary then the next week will be in the Vintage room. And vice versa for the restraunt style service. Masked Service: Masks are required at all times during service. Restaurant Style Service: Masks required at all times expect when you are at your seat. When you walk in, go to the bathroom, or are leaving please wear your mask.

Hand sanitizer

We have plenty of hand sanitizer to go around. Hand sanitizer will be stationed by all entrances and exits of the building.

Seating

All of our rows are open but we ask that you sit 2 seats, 6 feet, away from the next family unit. Our ushers will be helping with seating each week to ensure proper socal distanting.

We ask that if you, or anyone in your family, is feeling sick or showing symptoms of COVID-19 please stay home and join us online

COVID-19 symptoms include but are not limited to fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.

The following section outlines our plans and safety procedures. These were all taken from the latest CDC and NJ guidelines for reopening houses of worship. We will continue to monitor changes to the CDC and NJ guidelines and update our procedures accordingly.
